Eric Flinchum

Wrestling Instructor

Eric  began wrestling at a young age growing up in Virginia. However
he found his first major success after moving to Crestview, FL in 2000. At Crestview High
he compiled a 55-3 record on my way to winning a state championship in 2002.
After high school he wrestled for 5 years on scholarship at the University of
the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY where his collegiate record was 117-13. I
was a four-time All-American, a 2X undefeated national finalist, and a
national champion in 2007. In the fall of 2007 Eric began working as the
assistant wrestling coach for Campbell University while pursuing a graduate
degree. During his time at Campbell  he continued competing and achieved
All-American status by placing at the university freestyle nationals. Upon
graduation he moved back home to the panhandle of Florida and is excited
to be a part of the coaching staff at Capitao.
